I said I bought the damn thing. Well, I tried to.
Bokia.se claimed they had the book, so I placed an order and started waiting for the book. A couple of days later I receieved an email saying that the book in question was sold out and "då det helt saknas uppgift om / när boken kommer i lager igen är vi tyvärr tvungna att stryka den från din beställning".
Yeah, well, that's the dilemma of ordering stuff online, I guess...
So I had to venture out to find it somewhere else. Via the excellent Bokbörsen-site I ended up at Antikvariat Sacher, buying not only To your scattered bodies go, but also The fabulous riverboat, The dark design and the "concluding" fourth novel The magic labyrinth (which was later followed by a fifth novel, Gods of Riverworld - but I have yet to buy that one, since Sacher didn't have it in stock). All for a price just above what I would have been forced to pay for just the one book I tried to order from Bokia.
And delivery was fast too!
